The mission of the Shawneetown Fire Department is to protect life, property, and the environment through professional, compassionate, and effective emergency response. We are committed to providing excellence in fire suppression, emergency medical services, water and dive rescue operations, vehicle and technical extrication, fire prevention, and public education. Through teamwork, training, integrity, and dedication to our community, we strive to serve with courage, readiness, and respect whenever and wherever we are needed.
